At Baldins Tech Finder, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our goal is to make returns simple and fair while ensuring all customers are treated with honesty and respect.
7-Day Return Policy
You may return most items within 7 days of receiving them, as long as:
- The product is in the same condition as when it arrived.
- It is unused, undamaged, and still in its original packaging.
- All accessories, manuals, and promotional items are included.
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Please note that any physical damage, scratches, or signs of misuse will void your return eligibility.
How to Log a Return
- Email us at btf@baldins.co.za with your order number and a short description of the issue.
- We’ll review your request and guide you through the return process.
- Please pack your product securely with the invoice included.
- We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service, as we can’t take responsibility for lost or damaged parcels in transit.
Refunds and Exchanges
- Non-defective products may be exchanged or returned for store credit (or cash if applicable) if they meet our return conditions.
- Returns not in original condition (e.g. opened packaging, missing parts) may incur a depreciation fee of up to 50%, depending on the item’s condition.
- Refunds will be processed within 7–21 working days after inspection.
Warranty Information
We stand behind the quality of every product we sell.
- Local stock items include the standard manufacturer’s warranty, typically 6–24 months.
- Local stock items will be clearly marked as local stock.
- Imported items carry a 30-day out-of-box warranty provided by Baldins Tech Finder. Any additional manufacturer warranty, where applicable, is product and region dependent and is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated on the product page.
- If your device develops a hardware fault during the warranty period, contact us at btf@baldins.co.za with a description and photos where possible.
Please note that physical damage, liquid damage, removal of serial numbers, or unauthorized repairs will void the warranty.
Wrong or Damaged Deliveries
If you receive the wrong item or it arrives damaged:
- Notify us immediately via btf@baldins.co.za.
- Keep the original packaging and, if possible, take clear photos of the damage.
- We’ll arrange to collect the incorrect or damaged item and send a replacement.
If the item was opened or used, or packaging is missing, we may not be able to accept the return.
Important Notes
- Buyer’s remorse (change of mind) returns are subject to our 7-day return policy and product condition requirements.
- All devices are GSM unlocked and compatible with South African networks unless otherwise stated.
- Imported devices may come with Global or CN ROMs (Google Play pre-installed where applicable).
